Everyone is prone to attack and we should learn to recognize dust mite allergy symptoms.
Dust mite allergy symptoms are caused by tiny organisms called dust
mites House mite allergy is a reaction of the body to the proteins
that are secreted by the house mites in their excretion processes. The
protein acts on the respiratory system of a person and it aggravates
the air passages causing hay fever and asthmatic related attacks. Dust
mite allergy symptoms are caused by the mite attack. Not even one home
is immune to the existence of dust mites. They thrive well in dusty
corners and nooks. They resemble tiny fleas. They like living in warm
conditions and the availability of their food. They feed on dead human
and animal skin. As well as preferring the darker places the mites
thrive in our beds and therefore we are apt to breathe a lungful of
them any time that we go to bed. Lit are these dust mite allergens
that trigger dust mite allergy symptoms.
When the mites touch the skin of our bodies, they secrete harmful
proteins that cause our bodies to produce anti bodies to ward off the
attack. It is this production of antibodies that causes the release of
histamine which is the major catalyst or the swelling in our
bodies. The dust mites are not seasonal. They thrive in the house
throughout the year, and therefore anyone' body can react, if they
come into contact with the body. The infection of dust mite allergy
may be characterized by respiratory infections which include incessant
wheezing, coughing and other breath related problems, running nose and
watery eyes. Their attack may precede an attack of asthma which also
brings about complications in breathing.
There are many symptoms that give an indication of dust mite
attack. The nasal passage becomes inflamed and there and some mild
pain may be experienced when inhaling or exhaling. The eyes might
become watery especially if one has a bout of attack. The eye swells
up and they hurt a little. If this condition persists; the victim may
experience some unusual pressure. The nose might become blocked
causing owner to breath through the mouth. There are no known long
term effects to this allergy although it might trigger other
respiratory infections. It might also trigger a lot of sneezing. When
the exposure to dust mite is prolonged over a long period of time, it
causes permanent conditions of asthma that will force the victim to
live under constant medication.
